REFINED POMACE OLIVE OIL

Trade name of product: Refined and winterized pomace olive oil.

Product definition: Oil obtained by chemical treatment with solvents or other physical process of the liquid-solid olive mill waste subjected to a complete refining process, oils obtained using solvents or reesterification processes and of any mixture with oils of other kinds are excluded.

Qualitative and quantitative composition: According to Regulation (EC) 2016/2095 amending Regulation (EC) 2568/1991, and according to Regulation (UE) 835/2011 regarding maximum levels for polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons.

Process description: detailed at length in the HACCP.

Commercial presentation: Bulk.

Storage conditions: Ambient temperature in a sealed container, inerted with nitrogen.

Transport condition: Tank: exclusively dedicated for transport of food at ambient temperature.

Final destination: Packing companies from oil sector and food industry in general.

Lot: Variable according to characteristics of the crude oil, but can range between 100-650 tons of crude oil. The lot name consists of two parts: the first part, which identifies the oil of origin, indicating the tank number followed by a sequential number and year and, the second part which indicates a sequential number followed by the year. Lot identification: crude tank-sequential number-year-sequential number/year.

Useful life: 1 year under optimal storage conditions (ambient temperature in a sealed container).
